Birthday dinner at Morgan'sWe headed up to Huntsville this weekend to see Philip's parents. Friday was JoAnne's birthday and Sunday was Mother's Day so she got double dose cards/presents! We didn't get up there until about 9pm on Friday so we visited with them and hit the sack pretty early. Saturday morning, me and Philip went for a run and got soaked!! We looked like drowned rats by the time we got back to the house! After a delicious breakfast, we did a little shopping and headed to Brew Fest. This year was the first time Huntsville has had a Brew Fest and it appeared to be a hit!! We went to dinner for JoAnne's birthday and watched Get Smart. Sunday was church and lunch then back to Opelika.
It was a great weekend and we were both glad to get up to see them. It had been a while since we'd been!!!
Last night my parents spent the night on their way back from Fripp Island. We cooked some steaks and had a nice visit with them. They're tending to some top secret business today. Hopefully more on that in the days to come!!!
